21-6-2007 Finals
The leauge is now over. The final rankings were calculated as such:
1. lost' 2. [j]' 3. }i{ 4. =A= 5. One' 6. w/ Illusion and jÄgarna tied for the 2nd spot, and the game between the two was a tie. It was decided that the outcome of the game vs the team ranked above them, in this case lost, would determine the final rank. Hence, jÄgarna ranked 2nd and illusion ranked 3rd. This gives us the following games remaining of sajhco: Quarter finals }i{ vs One', }i{ wins 27-10 =A= vs w/ , =A= wins 43-17 Semi finals =A= vs lost' }i{/One vs [j]', [j]' wins 31-27 Final =A=/lost' vs [j]' Each game will be given one week to be scheduled by the teams, but of course games may be played before this. If this fails, the game will be force scheduled. All maps are once again available to pick, but you can only pick each map once. The "big" final will be played 4x20. Good luck to the remaining teams, and a big thanks to the rest of the teams... and a big fuck off to the quitting teams;). 01-6-2007 Force scheduling
As a few games are yet to be played, and the summer is closing in on us the remaining games of sajhco league has been force scheduled. These deadlines are absolute, if a team does not show up for the game, wo is given to the opposing team. If both team fails to show up, both teams get a default loss.
Of course games may be played earlier if both teams can, but not later. Some teams will have a busy schedule, but only those who failed to play actively enough during the season.

The swedish server hosted by #eyeCandy and #kyk have been added to the server pool.
Also notice, as the qualification is drawing to an end, if you want to add a player who havent been in an active lineup without a freeze-period, this is the time to do it as the league is scheduled to begin the 2nd of April. 19-3-2007 Issue
Yesterday the first serious incident occurred. /-- played vs *RF*, and after the game one of the /-- players came to me whining about ping-issues during the game, and that he thought it probably wasnt a coincident. I dismissed this as pure whine though and left irc for a few hours to travel to Oslo. When getting back online the situation had evolved. This screenshot was shown in the topic of the admin channel, together with a vote judging to ban *RF* for using unjust methods to win a game.
Based on this screenshot, and the story from the /-- players, the admins choosed to force forfeit *RF*'s game vs /-- thus eliminating *RF* from the playoff and moving /-- on to the group final. To learn from our possible mistakes, i have decided to start 3 feedback threads regarding the 3 most recent issues involving admins. Banning *RF* Judging of [dP] vs .jpg Force scheduling One' vs (c) The purpose of these threads are to determine what you think should have been done, and how you reflect on our decisions. Hopefully making adminning more fair in the coming games/tournaments. And hey, you get to whine ;). 18-3-2007 Teams update
Due to the lack of a competitive lineup in edge, their kind leader (me) has forfeited their spot in the sajhco league. This leaves one spot up for grabs.
What is to be done is that the runner ups from the 3 groups, ie the teams that loses their respective group finals, will compete for the last spot. The runnerup of Group A will play vs the runnerup of Group C. The winner of this game moves on to play the runnerup of Group B. As you might have figured out, B only has to play 1 game to get qualified. But Group B is considered to be a slightly harder group than the other two, so it kind of evens out. DONT WHINE, THE ADMINS HAVE SPOKEN! ;). At the playoff page you will see the added 'edge replacement group' at the bottom of the page, along with 2 added playdays, 5 and 6. Playday 5 - Runnerup semifinal: 25/3/07 00:01 - 28/03/07 23:59 Playday 6 - Runnerup final: 28/3/07 00:01 - 1/04/07 23:59 Sadly this will postpone the first playday of the league another week. Hope it isnt too much of an issue. 14-3-2007 Update on the rules
There has been a few minor updates on the rules. A newly added player is no longer frozen for 7 days, he is now frozen for 1 game. This rule was altered as the old one might cause clan postponing games simply to be able to use a certain player. However, a frozen player IS ALLOWED to play if the opponent allows it.
Also, playing 3on3 or 5on5 is allowed during the qualification phase if BOTH teams agree on this. Both these rules were set up to ensure the speed of the qualifcation phase, which currently is moving along nicely, so far only one game has been slightly delayed. Keep the good work up! 10-3-2007 Important rules update
Demos - Must be recorded by EVERYONE in EVERY game.. if a clan fails to provide demos upon request by an admin during the qualification phase, they will be forced to forfeit their game. Read rules section for rules regarding demos in the league.
10-3-2007 Kick off
So, the qualifiction phase of SajhCo I: Public wars begins soon.
At first the qualification phase was set to be a total of 24 clans. This extended to be no less than 31 clans, that's an impressive number in aq2 these days i'd say. When watching the playoff tree you will notice that some clans are written -UR-/@no1 for example, this means they have to play an additional qualification game, a prequalifier if you wish. This is to take care of the fact that the tree only supports 24 clans. The schedule which is set for the qualification matches are: Playday 1 - PreQualifier: 10/3/07 14:00 - 14/03/07 23:59 Playday 2 - Qualifier 1: 14/3/07 00:01 - 18/03/07 23:59 Playday 3 - Qualifier 2: 18/3/07 00:01 - 21/03/07 23:59 Playday 4 - Qualifier Finals: 21/3/07 00:01 - 25/03/07 23:59 Of course, you may go ahead of schedule if you wish :). The league will begin at the 5th playday, ie at the 26th, this date is subject to change though if qualification phase draws too long. Or if it is shortened. Remember to check the rules a final time before starting, and remember.. you may only pick each of the 6 maps as homemap once during the qualification phase. And do your best to make SajhCo I: Public wars a success, its in the hands of the players, not in the hands of the admins. Good luck:). 5-3-2007 Presenting sajhco I: "Public wars"
The first, but hopefully not last, sajhco tournament is here. The signups have started and will remain open until Friday 9/3 23:59. A total of 34 clans will fight to prove who is the best over allclan at wellknown public maps.
An unofficial date for the qualification phase to start is currently set to Monday 12/3. Rules aren't totally complete yet, they still need some final adjustment. » Forum discussion » Sign-up sajh and company wishes all the participating clans good luck, and i hope everyone does their part in making this a successful tournament. |
